Title: Director of Property Finance & Compliance

Compensation Range: $110,000 – $125,000

Schedule: Full-time, typically Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

(5:00 PM on Fridays)

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

As our Commercial Property Finance Manager, you’ll be at the center of our organization, overseeing all accounting and financial functions for both our property management business and a diverse commercial property portfolio. In this pivotal role, you won’t just manage numbers, you’ll shape policies, safeguard compliance, and drive risk management strategies that protect and strengthen the business. From ensuring financial accuracy to overseeing regulatory requirements and insurance programs, your expertise will be key to our success.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank account management.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the company and its managed properties.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting, working closely with external CPA firms.
• Monitor payroll processes and coordinate with payroll service providers.
• Oversee compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements across the business.
• Manage risk and insurance programs, including coverage renewals and claims.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes, drive operational efficiency, and support business objectives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4 or more years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a financial management role (commercial real estate or property management experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Yardi Systems experience highly preferred; QuickBooks experience a plus.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and real estate financial operations.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a proactive approach to challenges.

Compensation:
