Title: Life Enrichment Coordinator
Compensation: $21.00-$25.00/hr
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
The Life Enrichment Coordinator brings energy, creativity, and heart to a role that truly makes a difference. Responsible for designing and leading engaging activities and social programs, this position helps create joyful, meaningful experiences that enhance the daily lives of our residents. From planning dynamic calendars and community outings to coordinating transportation and encouraging participation, you’ll play a vital role in promoting connection, wellness, and purpose.
Ability to drive a small van to take maximum 8 residents to and from events/appointments, etc.
We will just need a valid CA drivers license.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive life enrichment program that supports the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being of residents.
- Create and maintain an engaging monthly activity calendar including recreational, educational, spiritual, and social events.
- Plan and coordinate community outings, entertainment, and special events, including personalized celebrations for residents.
- Supervise and support staff and volunteers involved in life enrichment, ensuring proper training and scheduling.
- Collaborate with local organizations and volunteers to enhance resident engagement and community involvement.
- Ensure safe and efficient transportation logistics for appointments and off-site activities.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations while documenting activity participation and preparing for coverage during absences.
- Supervise vendors and volunteers, ensuring they are properly guided and actively engaged in life enrichment activities by participating alongside them.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Two or more years of experience creating and delivering programming for older adults; experience in senior care or assisted living strongly preferred
- Must have or be willing to obtain Adult First Aid certification upon hire and maintain it throughout employment
- Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record; position may include transporting residents on local outings
- Must be able to pass a TB test, health screening, and criminal background check, as required by state regulations
- Must complete required training and certifications on an ongoing basis to remain in compliance with facility and state standards
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and lead creative, engaging activities tailored to residents' needs and abilities
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to supervise volunteers, vendors, and team members
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and community partners
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Familiarity with senior care regulations and safety standards in elder care settings
- Adaptable and flexible, with a compassionate, resident-centered approach
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a calm, empathetic demeanor

Compensation: Salary range between $21.00 - $25.00, may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and the company’s performance.
Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
